Additional Information: Aside from signing the 1866 petition, Mary had some shares in the English Woman's Journal.

Other Suffrage Activities: Mary was a Quaker and opened a day nursery and night school for women working at the silk factory owned by the Courtauld family at their request. After training as a nurse, she founded a training school for nurses in 1862 in Liverpool, where she signed the 1866 petition. In 1867, she was a member of the Society for Promoting the Employment of Women, and was a member of the governing council of the London School of Medicine for Women.
