Additional Information: Florence took part in a WSPU deputation in 1909, at which she was accused of stone-throwing. She was sentenced to one month in prison. In 1910, she was again sentenced, this time to two months in prison, for stone-throwing in disgust at the way in which women (including her sister Dora Beedham) had been violently treated by police on 'Black Friday' that year.
