Family information: Father was a musician. Mother was co-owner of a school.
Additional Information: Rosa joined the WSPU in 1909 and was also a member of the Actresses Franchise League (AFL). She was appointed 'Honorary Instructor in Voice Production' for the WSPU and would teach women the skills of outdoor speaking for their suffrage activties. Endorsements and advertisements for her classes were placed in the WSPU newspaper Votes for Women. By 1911, Rosa was also holding similar classes for the Men's Political Union for Women's Enfranchisement (MPU), the men's 'wing' of the WSPU. She must have been a wonderful tutor, as she was also asked to do the same for the East London Federation of Suffragettes (ELFS).
